Lily Creek Farms LCF is a 501c3 nonprofit that uses equine-assisted activities to heal mind body and spirit.

We have a professional team providing growth and learning opportunities through the use of equine-assisted therapy to improve the quality of our student’s lives. For children and adults with disabilities, the equestrian experience is life changing. No other therapeutic recreational opportunity benefits so many aspects of a disability in such a holistic way. Imagine the sense of confidence and inde

pendence a rider who uses a wheelchair feels on a horse. Think of a student's muscles growing stronger as he brushes his horse. Watch the emotional connection a rider develops with her horse, instructor, volunteers and fellow students. We have seen firsthand how working with a 1,100 pound animal and gaining its trust, increases a child or adults self-confidence, self-respect, and sense of responsibility. The farm is a place where riders of all ages benefit physically, cognitively and emotionally from a wide variety of horse experiences tailored to their needs by our horses, instructors and volunteers. At Lily Creek Farms, these kinds of "Little Victories" happen every day. The joy of watching one of our students that has Cerebral Palsy, smile and point at his leg and say to us…”LOOK, LOOK, at my leg” as his leg stretches out to its proper length as he sits in the saddle and rides. Or watching Joey, one of our Down Syndrome students who came to us with no attention span and very limited vocabulary, in only 3 weeks tell the horse to go and help tie a saddle and listen to every word our instructors tell him while he is sitting so tall and proud in the saddle! These moments are beyond words and remind us again that our philosophy is true…the greatest of these IS love!

Join us for a fun-filled day on the farm! Meet our horses and other friendly livestock, enjoy carriage rides, sample fresh strawberries, and take part in games and activities for all ages.

Mike's Salty Dogs and beverage vendors will be on-site, and our Farmers Market will be open—come early for the best selection!

You'll also have the opportunity to meet our staff and volunteers, learn about our therapeutic riding programs, and discover ways to get involved in our mission.

Admission is FREE. Pre-registration is not required, but it is appreciated. Everyone who pre-registers and makes a donation will be entered into a drawing to win a free horseback riding lesson!

A huge thank you to the Bryan Eagles # 2233 for their incredible support of Lily Creek Farms and our Ridership Fund!

Through this year's Motorcycle Awareness Day Parade, the Bryan Eagles contributed $5,000 to help support our mission. Then, yesterday, we were blessed to receive an additional $5,000 in matching funds through the Ohio Eagles Charity Fund, bringing their impact in just the past few weeks to an amazing $10,000.

Even more remarkable, their total support over the past two years has reached $25,000, with another $5,000 already pledged for this fall. That kind of commitment doesn't just support a program—it changes lives.

It never ceases to amaze us how often support arrives exactly when it is needed most. At a time when every dollar matters, this gift will help ensure that individuals and families can continue accessing the therapeutic riding, equine-assisted learning, vocational, life-skills, veterans, and community programs that make such a difference in their lives.

There are moments when nonprofit work can feel overwhelming, and then a gift arrives that reminds us we are not doing this alone. This was one of those moments.

A moment that reminds us why we stay the course:

Each week, people come to Lily Creek Farms from across the region including Michigan and Indiana. They are carrying things we cannot always see: anxiety, trauma, and physical challenges. Our horses meet them without judgment, accepting them exactly as they are. And the humans and horses keep showing up.

Sometimes transformation happens in a single session. More often, it unfolds week after week, as the bond between horse and human strengthens, bringing healing to mind, body, and spirit.

🎯 These moments bring us back to center.
🧡 Horses heal humans. We need to keep showing up for one another.

But the day to day is heavy. Managing the farm. Finding volunteers. Raising the money to keep going. Not always having enough time, people, or resources. It can pull us away from the WHY.

WE NEED YOUR HELP! We are selling raffle tickets as a fundraiser to help Lily Creek Farms! Drawing will be at the Golf Scramble on Saturday, July 18th at approximately 1 pm. You do not need to be present to win.

For every 10 raffle tickets you sell, your name gets entered into a drawing for a chance to win your choice of a free riding lesson or a market gift certificate.

Fun Fishing Day at the Farm for clients and volunteers! Biggest Fish, Most Fish, Fishing Enthusiast prizes were all awarded. Good food was had by all. The notorious snapping turtle was caught and rehomed, we visited with horses. And most importantly, we celebrated being a part of the Lily Creek Family!
