Symphony of Trees

Symphony of Trees Symphony of Trees is an annual fundraising event conducted in Napoleon, Ohio. Proceeds generated through Symphony events benefit local children's programs.

Programs benefited by Symphony of Trees include: the Center for Child and Family Advocacy, and the Henry County Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA)/Guardian ad Litem (GAL) program, and children's treatment and programs at the Henry County Hospital. Center for Child & Family Advocacy

The Center for Child & Family Advocacy is a community-based mental health agency specializing in prevention a

nd treatment of child sexual abuse and domestic violence. The Center serves the counties of Defiance, Fulton, Henry, Paulding and Williams. Child sexual abuse treatment services include play therapy for very young victims, as well as group and individual therapy for both victims and perpetrators. Sexual abuse prevention programming is provided to several thousand school-age children each year. The House of Ruth is a battered women's shelter operated by the Center in a confidential location providing women and children with food, clothing, counseling and advocacy at no cost. Henry County CASA/GAL

Henry County Court Appointed Special Advocate/Guardian Ad Litem (CASA/GAL) provides trained volunteers who are committed to standing up for abused children involved in the family court system. A CASA/GAL volunteer works to discover the best possible outcome for a child to make sure they are raised in a safe, permanent and nurturing home. Each child can then thrive and look forward to a positive future. Henry County Hospital

Henry County Hospital is a nationally recognized healthcare provider that is proud to be known as a place where family and friends care for family and friends. As a community hospital, the hospital is committed to being the best place for patientโ€™s to receive care, employees to work, and physicians to practice medicine. Funds raised by the Symphony of Trees allow Henry County Hospital to support a community of well children. Programs such as the Imagination Library and Born Learning, sponsored by Henry County Hospital, promote literacy and learning with activity and play. Major equipment purchases such as the Infant Security System, Infant Warmer, Hearing/Screening Equipment and a special Pediatrics Room in the Emergency Care Services Department have also been possible thanks to the fundraising efforts of the Symphony of Trees. Through time, talent, and treasure, Henry County Hospital is committed to excellent patient care and a healthier community.

WOW! What an incredible night at the Napoleon Elks Rally in the Alley! We want to send a huge THANK YOU to everyone who came out, danced, sang along, and helped us party like it was 1999!

From the moment Zack Attack hit the stage, the energy was nonstop, and seeing our newly paved parking lot packed with friends, families, and music lovers made all the hard work worth it.

A special thank you goes out to:
โญ Our 28 sponsors whose support made this event possible
โญ Our vendors and over 60 volunteers who kept everything running smoothly
โญ Zack Attack for bringing the ultimate throwback party
โญ Our Amazing Bartending Staff at the Napoleon Elks
โญ And most importantly, YOUโ€”the community members who showed up, had fun, and supported a great cause.

Because of your support, we were able to make a $7,500 donation to Symphony of Trees and help continue the positive impact they make in our community.

This year, we are SO EXCITED to provide each of our three agencies with checks for $37,000!

We could not do this without help from our community and so many volunteers! The support that we receive from local businesses is unparalleled.

That is a TOTAL of $111,000 that Symphony of Trees is helping to provide services for children right here in our community!

THANK YOU!!!!

Our 2025 Festival Chair Michelle Snyder was happy to present our first check to The Henry County Hospital โค๏ธ

Our 2025 Champion of Children - Mrs. Diana Vocke ๐ŸŽ„

Diana Vocke is no stranger to working with children in Northwest Ohio as she has worked through agencies and Napoleon Area City Schools to ensure children are safe, have an advocate, and earn their education while living in a healthy and safe environment for the past 40 years.

Diana has devoted her life to helping others and serving her community in many ways, and it is because she has given so much of her life, time, and heart to the children in Northwest
Ohio that we honor her this year as our 2025 Champion of Children.

Early on, Diana knew that she would use her career to help children. Starting off at Williams County Child Protective Services, Diana spent three and a half years there and worked closely with the courts and schools while ensuring the safety of children in their homes. Eventually, she chose to work with Community Action for a year and half before moving up to Napoleon and working with Henry County Child Protective Services for another 11.5 years. During this time, she investigated child abuse and neglect cases. Her countless hours spent working directly with families to assess their need and connect them with services and determining which families required additional or ongoing services directly impacted the safety of children.

As a Licensed Social Worker (LSW), Diana was hired by Napoleon Area Schools and has worked the last 25 years as their on-site LSW and Attendance Officer. Over the years, Diana has spent countless hours on home visits and working closely with families in a number of areas including connecting services for homeless youth, helping to coordinate donations for families in need, and forming positive relationships with hundreds of students and families. An advocate for children in our community, Diana also works frequently with the Henry County Courts and communicates regularly with probation. Diana runs intervention programs, assists NACS staff daily with referrals and often works as a liaison between families, community agencies and the school. Attendance is often a symptom of other things going on with the student and family and it is her priority to work with the entire family to identify what other stressors or challenges may
be impacting the family and may be spilling over to impact the student in their educational setting. Although her job may change daily based on the needs of NACS students and families,
Diana is always willing to spend time with parents and children to help them in any way that she can.

In her free time, Diana enjoys spending time with her family more than anything. With trips to the lake and working around the house, she keeps herself busy. Diana lives by example and always puts her best foot forward while also showing everyone who meets her a loving smile and a caring heart.

Diana Vocke has certainly earned this recognition as she is a true Champion of Children.
