Teddy Bears For The Troops, Inc Teddy Bears For The Troops is a 501(c)3 organization that sends care packages with teddy bears to deployed military to bring comfort from home.

Teddy Bears for the Troops was begun in Feb. 2007 when a young man walked into the Build A Bear Workshop while I was working. He made a husky dog as the mascot for his company in Iraq. I asked if anyone else in his company would like a mascot and he replied yes. Since that day more than 500 Teddy Bears have been sent to deployed military, those who have returned wounded and a few special instances

of a wife or child receiving one. Our goal is to bring hugable comfort to those who serve our country.
