Attention all local Veterans! The following is a message from the Wounded Warriors of Collier County:
On Friday, September 27th, October 25th, November 22nd and January 24th, 2020 we will be hosting Operation Strides. Operation Strides is an Equine-Facilitated Program for military service veterans.
Friday, November 22nd is for veterans only and we will meet from 5:30pm to 7:30pm at NTRC. There we will be time at the end to meet for a meeting in our meeting space after with snacks and refreshments.
Friday, September 27th, October 25th and January 24, 2020 is for veterans and the families. We will meet from 5:30pm to 7:30pm at NTRC and will have food and refreshments in the meeting space after for everyone to gather and enjoy.
This program is offered as a FREE service to our veterans & family members. Please do not sign up for more than 2 classes at a time. This way we can serve more veterans and families.
Operation Stride's equine-assisted activities are interactive and challenging. This program is devoted to improving the lives of our military service men and women.
Closed toed shoes are required to participate. There will be no riding of the horses all of the interaction will be ground-work based.
