When we teach a child to fish, we do more than share a skill... it's about building confidence, creating lifelong memories, and inspiring the next generation to care for and protect our waterways.
Two years ago, the City of Naples Parks and Recreation included our Kids Fishing Clinic with the annual Tree Fest event! 🎣 We love the seamless partnership of these two events!
While the Cabbage Palm may be the state tree, the Mangrove could arguably be our SWFL tree. Mangroves are the nursery of Southwest Florida's fisheries. They provide food, shelter, and protection for countless marine species, supporting the recreational and commercial fishing industries that drive our coastal economy.
Today's young anglers are tomorrow's stewards of our marine resources. By connecting young people to the water, we preserve our coastal heritage, and develop the next generation of conservationists, anglers, and marine industry leaders.
A huge thank you to our volunteers, sponsors, parents, and community partners. We can’t wait to see everyone back next year... mark your calendars for June 5, 2027!
