One of the things that makes Pelican Bay so special is the incredible collection of experiences, accomplishments, and life journeys represented within our community.

Perhaps you competed at the highest levels of athletics, served in the military, built a successful business, authored a book, made a scientific discovery, climbed a mountain, sailed across an ocean, traveled to all seven continents, or dedicated your life to a meaningful cause. Maybe you've had a remarkable career, pursued an extraordinary hobby, or experienced an adventure that others would love to hear about.

The Pelican Bay Post is always looking for interesting members to feature in spotlight articles that celebrate the people who make our community unique. These stories inspire, entertain, and help neighbors get to know one another on a deeper level.

What was once a longtime neighborhood tennis facility has evolved into a thriving community destination. Just blocks from the beach, Pelican Bay Community Park is serving up a new era of tennis for Southwest Florida.

With upgraded HydroCourts, expanded lighting, and a renewed vision for players of all ages and skill levels, the courts are now buzzing from morning lessons to evening league play. Even more exciting? The return of USTA League Play and a growing youth program introducing the next generation to the sport.

We’re proud to see this transformation featured by USTA and honored to be creating a space where our community can learn, play, compete, and connect.
