Confidence is built one cast at a time. ๐Ÿ’™๐ŸŽฃ

Our Heels & Reels Girls Fishing Program is much more than a day of fishing โ€” itโ€™s an educational mentoring experience designed to empower at-risk girls through meaningful time on the water alongside compassionate and experienced women mentors.

Through encouragement, connection, and new experiences, these young girls are discovering confidence, courage, and the freedom that comes from stepping outside their comfort zones. From learning new fishing skills with mentors to celebrating each catch, every moment helps create lasting memories and impact.

We still have a few spaces available for this special program on Saturday, June 6th. If you know a young woman who could benefit from this experience, please contact our office at 239-263-2377 for more information. This program is provided at no cost, thanks to the generous donors and sponsors who help make it possible.

Because sometimes the most powerful thing you can give a young personโ€ฆ is someone who believes in them. โœจ

Some days on the water remind us what Freedom Waters Foundation is all about. ๐Ÿ’™๐ŸŽฃ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ

During this special Weller Day fishing outing, an Air Force veteran shared the experience alongside a participant from the Southwest Florida Coalition of the Blind โ€” offering guidance, encouragement, and camaraderie every step of the way.

What began as a fishing trip became something much bigger: connection, compassion, and the healing power of being on the water together.

At Freedom Waters Foundation, we believe the water has a way of bringing people together, breaking down barriers, and creating moments that stay with us long after we return to shore.

Thank you to , our donors, sponsors, supporters, staff, and volunteers who make these experiences possible. โœจ

This is what an educational morning on the water filled with encouragement and unforgettable moments looks like. ๐Ÿ’™

Our recent Weller Day fishing experience with The Learning Room Inc. and Freedom Boat Club of SWFL gave participants the opportunity to enjoy the healing power of the water while creating new memories and building confidence.

From first catches to shared laughter aboard the boats, this day was a reminder of how meaningful these experiences can be for youth with special needs.

Thank you to our boat captain volunteers, staff, and partners who continue helping us create moments of freedom and connection on the water.

This past Monday, in partnership with Naples Princess Cruises, we had the privilege of honoring veterans from every branch of the military during our Veterans Meet & Greet Cruise.

As each branch was announced, the cheers and pride aboard were unforgettable. These moments remind us how powerful connection and camaraderie can beโ€”especially among those who have served our country. โš“๏ธ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ

At the Freedom Waters Foundation, our mission is rooted in creating therapeutic experiences on the water that foster feelings of community and joy. For our veterans, these outings offer so much more than a few hours aboard a boatโ€ฆ they offer connection and belonging.

Thank you to every veteran who joined us. Your service and sacrifice will never be forgotten.

Please help us honor all veterans by dropping your branch in the comments below.๐Ÿ‘‡

Because of the support from sponsors like , the Heels & Reels Girls Fishing Program continues to create opportunities for confidence-building, empowerment, and connection on the water. ๐Ÿ’™

This generosity helps provide meaningful experiences for girls in our community โ€” reminding them they are capable, supported, and strong both on and off the water.

Thank you for believing in the power of mentorship, fishing, and time on the water to change lives. Together, weโ€™re helping the next generation discover confidence one cast at a time. โœจ

At the Freedom Waters Foundation, every outing begins with something incredibly important: safety. โš“๐Ÿ’™

Before our participants step aboard, our volunteer captains review safety procedures and help everyone feel comfortable on the water.

Because creating therapeutic boating experiences starts with creating a safe environment where everyone can relax and enjoy the healing power of the water. โœจ

Thank you to our incredible volunteer captains and the team who make these moments possible.

The healing power of the water begins with safety first. ๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿฆบ

At the Freedom Waters Foundation, every therapeutic boating experience we provide starts with creating a safe, welcoming environment for our participants, volunteers, captains, and crew.

Today, our team is proudly wearing our life jackets in support of Wear Your Life Jacket to Work Day to kick off National Safe Boating Week โ€” helping to raise awareness about the importance of boating safety. โš“๏ธ

For the children and adults with disabilities and veterans we serve, time on the water brings connection and peace. Wearing a life jacket helps ensure those moments stay safe so the memories can last a lifetime.

Tag your boating buddies and help us spread the safe boating message!

Last month, we had the honor of welcoming veteran participants aboard the Mariner III out of Palm Beach for a therapeutic boat outing focused on connection and camaraderie. ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ

These moments matter.
The water has a way of quieting the noise, creating community, and reminding our nationโ€™s heroes they are never alone. โค๏ธ

Thank you to our donors, volunteers, and staff for helping to make these experiences possible for the veterans we proudly serve.
