My name is Dan Didrick and I am the co-founder of the World Hand Foundation. We offer start to finish solutions for amputee’s from covering the costs of the prosthetics to professional fittings and follow ups. What our foundation offers that no other foundation does is that we have contracts enabling us to purchase the worlds only functional artificial fingers, called X-Fingers, at a fracti
on of their wholesale price. We are now on a mission to place a large enough order for X-Fingers to enable tooling to be developed that will rehabilitate children with missing fingers. X-Fingers are currently being used to rehabilitate wounded US and British soldiers, workers and retired individuals from around the world. Children are often not fit with prosthetics as they outgrow them too quickly. X-Fingers are expandable, thereby able to be adjusted allowing children to use them through several growth spurts. Unfortunately one product is unable to change policy, which is why we are reaching out for your help. We are attempting to raise $1,000,000.00 to not only develop the tooling for pediatric X-Fingers, but also manufacture and fit hundreds of these devices to children in need.
