Sophia has a lot of interests and loves to be with her family and loves going on outings. Sophia’s family is very active in going for walks and adventures that Sophia does not always have the stamina for due to her diagnoses and poor motor planning.

Sophia’s new motorized wheelchair keeps her safe while allowing her more freedom to have experiences with her family. She’s really enjoying her outings!

Our incredible Program Coordinator worked closely with a family in need of specialized medical equipment for their daughter with special needs.

As part of our Families First program, our coordinator has worked long term with the family to identify needs and subsequently create goals to improve their quality of life. Proper healthcare is one of these main goals.

➡️ Thank you to the The Ricky King Children's Fund of SW Florida for providing the funding for this reverse walker. This will significantly improve this young girl’s life.

A huge thank you to our passionate and hardworking President, Heather Tice, for her commitment to The Ricky King Children's Fund of SW Florida and the children and families we serve!

🌟 As continues, we'd like to celebrate another one of our superstar employees! 🌟 Heather Tice, CFMP, VP and Marketing Manager in Naples, FL, is no stranger to giving back. Heather currently volunteers with not one, but TWO outstanding organizations!

Ms. Tice serves as the President of the The Ricky King Children's Fund of SW Florida – a nonprofit that provides support for disabled and critically ill children in Collier and Lee Counties. RKCF funds medical equipment and services not covered by insurance or Medicaid for over 50 local children with special needs every year. Heather also serves on the Advisory Board for Blessings in a Backpack of Southwest Florida. Blessings is a national organization with many local chapters serving students of Collier County Public Schools by providing discreet backpacks full of kid-friendly, nutritious food for them to take home over the weekend. Looking for something fun to do this weekend?
Genevieve is participating in a Disney Jr. play at The Fort Myers Theatre Center called the "Aristocats". She is playing the part of "Berlioz," which is one of the three leading kitten characters.

Genevieve's mom wanted our supporters to know that without the use of the wheelchair you so kindly helped us to purchase, Genevieve wouldn't be able to do this show. She will have it back stage, but she's determined to "do" the show without it on stage. She's so excited to be performing and taking on a big responsibility. (The director was willing to work the wheelchair into the show, but Genevieve is planning to power through.)

We are proud of her accomplishments!
