Florida SARC and SPCA Florida are reminding you to include your pets in your emergency planning this hurricane season.

Disasters are stressful for both people and animals. Having a plan before a storm approaches can help keep your entire family safe when every minute counts.

Make sure you have: 🐶 5 days of food and water
🐱 A crate or carrier for each pet
💊 Medications and medical supplies
📄 Gather Important veterinary, vaccine, and microchip records
📸 Curent photos of your pets
🧸 Comfort items like toys, treats, and blankets

This is Beau. He’s a gorgeous and friendly 2 year old bloodhound who’s being surrendered by his family. We’d like to bring him in, but we can’t unless we’re able to find someone who’s interested in fostering or fostering to adopt.
