Dearest friends,
Greetings from OLR school and orphanage! We are very happy to report that we are almost finished with the school:) Everything is going on smoothly. Our contractors have been doing the final touches inside the classrooms and offices. They have started the final touches on the outside. They will start painting next week- God willing.
Thank you for Love, Support, and prayers. You’re our heroes😎😎 People in Masaka are so proud of the developments at OLR and they are praying for you.
Fun fact: OLR is now the rosary centre for my village. Masses gather in the evenings to pray. Also, many people hang out at OLR and just watch the building:) Amazing❤️❤️❤️

Dear friends and benefactors of Our Lady of the Rosary Orphanage and School,
Heartfelt greetings! I hope you are doing well and keeping safe.
The work of our school and orphanage was resumed last week after 70 days of pause due to covid-19 lockdown. Attached are the recent pictures of the school. We hope the work of roofing to start in the week of July 19th.
We hope that the school and orphanage will be ready for the 3rd term (semester) starting September 7th.
We hope to start renovating the dorms(see the attached picture) for the orphanage for the in the week of August 1st. We have 121 orphans registered to be residents by September. Thank you so much for your generosity, support, and prayers. Many people in my village, my bishop, and priests are praying for you. You are our heroes!!!

St. Anne’s Orphanage and Primary School in Masaka, Uganda

Fr. Joseph Lugalambi is from a very poor village in Nabutongwa, Uganda (Masaka Diocese) which has a very high prevalence of HIV/AIDS that has led to many orphaned and abandoned children in his village. Many families have taken these children into their homes but struggle to care for them when most live on less than two dollars a day and the nearest school to educate them is a walking distance of eight miles. A Capital Campaign has been started to raise funds to build classrooms and an orphanage dedicated to the housing and education of these children in his village. Please prayerfully consider making a donation to this important cause. Any donation large or small will go so far in making a huge difference in the lives of these children.
