This mermaid-loving birthday girl is getting ready to celebrate a very special day filled with love, laughter, and magical new memories with her family.

After reunification, this family continues rebuilding and creating a beautiful new chapter together, and we would love for our village to help make her birthday extra special.

A beautiful “Wild One” is turning ONE 🎉
And when we say wild, we mean the sweetest, most outgoing, joy-filled little boy you’ll ever meet. His smile lights up every room, and his personality is already larger than life.

After spending weeks in the NICU, this little warrior has come so far—and now he is thriving in the most incredible way.

Calling on our Village ❤️

Through our Hearten Program, we have the honor of celebrating milestones for children and youth experiencing foster care—and this is one we would love to rally around together.

We have a special opportunity to support an incredible young mom who is reaching a huge milestone. As she turns 18 she will age out of foster care, and is stepping into independence, moving into a transitional home with her sweet little girl.

This moment represents so much—perseverance, strength, and a new beginning.

As she starts this next chapter, she is in need of essential items to help create a safe and stable home, especially home safety items for her and her son that we created as an Amazon Wish List.

This is where our village comes in.

Foster Village SWFL recently provided a birthday party through our Hearten Parties Program for the sweetest little girl currently in foster care. Our team created an unforgettable princess birthday celebration, and the caregiver later shared how special the day was — watching the birthday girl stand in complete amazement that she was having her very own princess party surrounded by friends who came to celebrate her.

The caregiver shared that what made the day even more meaningful was seeing so many people show love to this child. She truly believes it was the best birthday the little girl has ever had because she felt so loved.

This is what the Village looks like.

To everyone who donates, volunteers, plans, and gives their time and resources — thank you. Because of you, children and caregivers experiencing foster care in our community are reminded they are not alone.

👑 Help Us Give a Little Girl the Princess Birthday She’s Always Dreamed Of 👑

When G. came to live with her caregivers in December, a friend dropped off a few dresses for her. The moment she tried one on, her eyes lit up and she asked, “Am I a princess now?” From that day on, she’s worn dresses almost every day.

A few weeks ago, when asked if she wanted a birthday party, this joyful 4-year-old gave a blank stare. She had never had one before and didn’t even know what a birthday party was. That’s when our village knew—we had to change that. ✨

G. is artistic, kind, loves helping others, and has a smile that melts hearts. She deserves to be celebrated like the princess she believes she is. Her parents are working hard toward reunification, and this celebration will allow everyone who loves her to share in a special memory together as one big family.

🎉 A Birthday Wish 🎉

This month, we have a very special birthday wish from a 10-year-old boy in foster care who has never experienced a birthday party. When asked what he hoped for, his answer was simple: to go to Sky Zone 🥳

Thanks to an incredible partnership with Sky Zone, we were able to secure a discounted rate to make this celebration possible. We’re now inviting our community to come alongside us by sponsoring the venue fee and helping us turn this long-awaited birthday dream into a reality.

Because of YOU, children experiencing foster care get to be celebrated, seen, and reminded that they are deeply loved—especially on milestone moments like birthdays.
