A message of gratitude from Randy Otto who provided us with some engaging and historical entertainment at our annual Churchill Dinner:

The Churchill Dinner was an event on a day never to be forgotten.

The correlation between September 1939 and February 2022 could not be more pertinent.
There was a sense of commonality at the Port Royal Club that was tangible and lasting.
Thank you all of ESU for your invitation and warm welcome.

May we all stay linked together in common purpose.
This evil shall be defeated if we rise in the same voice with the words Winston spoke in October 1938:

“We must arm. Britain must Arm. America must Arm. We shall no doubt Arm. But arms, instrumentalities as President Wilson called them are in and of themselves not enough. We must add to them the power of ideas.
Does anyone believe that preparation for resistance to aggression is unleashing war?
I declare it to be the sole guarantee of peace.”
