Effective immediately, Marine Corps Recruit Depot Parris Island has suspended the Trusted Traveler Program until further notice.

The installation will implement 100 percent identification checks at all access control points, and all non Department of War credentialed holder vehicles entering the base will be searched. These measures apply to all personnel and visitors, including families attending this week’s graduation ceremony for Echo Company.

Visitor Identification Requirements:

All individuals 18 years of age and older must present a valid form of identification to access the base. Acceptable forms of ID include:
-REAL ID-compliant driver’s license or state-issued identification card
-United States passport
-Other federally approved identification credentials

Foreign Nationals:

Foreign nationals who have not submitted SECNAV Form 5512/1 for base access to Parris Island will not be granted entry and may be subject to additional screening by government partner agencies.

Vehicle Inspections & Prohibited Items:

The Provost Marshal’s Office will conduct vehicle inspections prior to entry. All vehicles are subject to search. Fi****ms, ammunition, and other prohibited items are not authorized aboard the installation.

We ask service members and visitors for their patience and understanding, as these enhanced security measures may result in longer wait times at the gates. Please plan accordingly to ensure timely arrival for scheduled events.
