Mental health cannot be taken care of if you don't have a safe place to put your head at night.

A $45,000 grant from WFCC allows NAMI Collier County to provide wraparound and mental health services to unhoused senior women with severe mental illness.
This isn't just about getting women housed. It's about helping them stay housed — individualized services help rehoused clients adjust to their new home and build the life skills they need to age safely in place.

911 shelter days. 35 senior women. One safe place to land.

A $47,000 grant from the Women's Foundation of Collier County funded 911 shelter days for 35 senior women at St. Matthew's House, Inc. Campbell Lodge and Immokalee Friendship House since May 2025.

At $58 per day, that covers far more than a bed: nutritious meals, counseling, life-skills training, healthcare access, and more than 120 individualized case management sessions helping women take meaningful steps toward long-term stability and renewed independence

We're honored that our 2026 Women's Foundation of Collier County luncheon video earned a Bronze Telly Award, recognizing the power of storytelling to inspire generosity and highlight the impact of Women Lifting Women—our initiative dedicated to empowering women and girls and supporting senior women throughout Collier County.

That story continues today.

Just weeks ago, the Women's Foundation of Collier County awarded $385,000 in grants to local nonprofits supporting senior women and empowering women and girls throughout Collier County. Together, we're investing in opportunity, strengthening lives, and creating lasting impact where it's needed most.

$385,000. Nine organizations. Countless lives changed.

The Women's Foundation of Collier County is proud to announce our 2026 grant awards - $385,000 invested in the women and girls of Collier County through our Women Lifting Women initiative.

This year's grants support women across every stage of life from senior women facing housing insecurity and isolation, to young women and girls building confidence and discovering their futures.

Congratulations to this year's recipients: Baker Senior Center Naples & Collier Resource Center, Beverly's Angels, Collier Senior Center, Healthcare Network of Southwest Florida, NAMI Collier County, Path2Freedom, St. Matthew's House, The Immokalee Foundation, and The Shelter for Abused Women & Children.

What happens when young women are encouraged to ask questions, dream bigger, and discover what's possible? Inspiring conversations. New perspectives. Greater confidence. A future filled with opportunity.

Our recent What's Possible? Build Your Future Speaker Series brought together young women to hear from inspiring professionals who shared honest advice, personal experiences, and practical insights on building meaningful careers and fulfilling lives.

A heartfelt thank you to Ronette Hall and Francesca Passidomo for their leadership in bringing this inspiring event to life. Thank you as well to our featured speakers, Ana Munro and Debora Camargos, for generously sharing their knowledge, experiences, and encouragement with the next generation.

We are also grateful to Jo Monvil, whose inspiring journey from a young girl with big dreams to the successful woman she is today was shaped in part by the mentorship and encouragement she received through the Women's Foundation of Collier County. Her story is a powerful reminder that when we invest in women and girls, we help create a future where the next generation can thrive.
