Does this look like a "Nursery" to you?
It is only the beginning if Richdale Recycling is granted conditional use to legitimize their current illegal operation.
Does this look like a proper use on a Residential Street?
The time has come to speak up and let your voice be heard regarding the proposed Richdale Recycling Mulch Processing Plant off US41 near Collier Seminole State Park. The Planning Comission will take up the Conditional Use Request On Thursday, November 19th.
I urge you to please attend the county meeting and submit your letters of objection to Mr. Timothy Finn, Principal Planner at: [email protected].
9:00 AM in the Board of County Commissioner's Meeting Room, located on the Third Floor of the Administration Building at the Collier County Government Center, 3299 Tamiami Trail East, Naples, Florida. Wear RED
Please consider the wide range of impacts this project could have not only on those adjoining residential properties but also on East Naples and Marco Island as a whole.
Traffic Issues arising for 100 yd Semi Trucks stopping and pulling off of a 2 lane US41 (speed limit 60mph) onto a non-conforming residential street.
Fire Risk during our dry season. This site alone has had 2 mulch fires in the last 10 years as a result of unauthorized mulching activities.
Health Impacts resulting from Fungal and Wood Dust Dispersal during wood mulching, the effects of which are well documented in the Medical Literature
Ground Water Contamination (Already present and acknowledged by the Applicant yet not addressed) that could spread to nearby residential and agricultural wells in additional to High Nitrogen and Phosphorous runoff making the short trek into Addison Bay behind Marco Island.
Please take the time to voice your opposition to this project and let our county leaders know that this is NOT a 'Complimentary' use to the residents of East Naples and Marco Island!
