At Corey Cares Foundation, we believe a legacy is measured by its impact. It has been incredibly rewarding to watch young people who once participated in youth programming now serve alongside us in giving back to the community.

Recently, we volunteered at Autumn Leaves Senior Living, a place that holds special meaning for our organization and family. The opportunity to serve residents while honoring a cherished legacy made the experience especially meaningful.

A Teammate before there was a Team Meet , Nikea Venson: My connection to the Corey Cares Foundation is personal. Corey was someone who loved people deeply, and that love showed in the way he lived and connected with others.

I remember sitting in the car one day listening to my Aunt Lorie talk about the pain she was carrying as a mother watching her son fight his battle. In that moment, I realized how important it is for people to have a space where they can acknowledge their grief and understand that it is okay to not be okay.

Corey’s life and his strength continue to inspire this foundation. I am proud to support this mission because it ensures that his legacy will live on by bringing comfort, support, and understanding to others who are walking through difficult moments in life.
