We're Back!
As we begin this new Legion year under the leadership of your newly elected officers, we want to reassure our members of our continued commitment to serving our veterans, their families, and our community.
We have some exciting activities and news heading your way. First and foremost, we are thrilled to announce that we have successfully launched the Naperville American Legion Auxiliary! This is a tremendous accomplishment, and we couldn't be more excited about the opportunities it will create. If you know of any spouses, family members, or individuals who would be interested in joining our new Auxiliary chapter, please let us know. Their involvement will only strengthen our ability to serve veterans and our community.
As we continue our efforts to support the Four Pillars of the American Legion—Veterans Affairs & Rehabilitation, National Security, Americanism, and Children & Youth—we must remember that nothing can be accomplished without teamwork. The lessons we learned during our military service remain just as important today. We must continue bringing those values into our lives, our Post, and our events. Most importantly, we must remember that we are one unit, not a collection of individuals. We succeed as a team.
As your newly elected officers, we are committed to:
• Strengthening our partnerships with local veteran organizations and clubs.
• Continuing to raise funds that support veteran-focused nonprofits and programs.
• Expanding scholarship opportunities for our youth.
• Growing programs that benefit veterans and their families.
• Listening to our members and learning what matters most to the veterans we serve.
Together, we can continue building a stronger Post, making a greater impact in our community, and ensuring that the values of the American Legion remain strong for future generations.
Thank you for your continued support, dedication, and service. We look forward to an exciting and productive year ahead.
