NCC College Scholars Honors Program

NCC College Scholars Honors Program The College Scholars Honors Program complements all disciplines of study and connects members, alumni, and faculty to form a community of excellence.

The College Scholars Honors Program provides high-achieving students from all academic disciplines the opportunity to expand and demonstrate their knowledge beyond the classroom. The program progressively layers camaraderie, academics, leadership and exploration to form a community of excellence. College Scholars have the opportunity to take small, discussion-based honors courses; participate in

colloquies on current topics with interdisciplinary significance; conduct and present independent research; receive one-on-one advising for prestigious national scholarships; lead and participate in a variety of social events; and study abroad.

College Scholars Alums: Check your email! We'd love to see you! Before the pandemic, we started a new tradition for our graduating College Scholars: a senior "progressive dinner" through downtown Naperville. This is a special year for the honors program! It is the 25th anniversary of our annual Cording Ceremony and an opportunity to do some in-person events again after a couple years of virtual celebrations. We thought it would be the perfect time to start a new tradition of inviting our College Scholar alumni to join us at the last stop of our progressive dinner journey! If you plan on attending please register as soon as possible so we can have an idea of how many people will be coming! Contact Kristin Geraty with questions! NC Faculty, you are welcome, too!!
