Big thanks to Cress Creek Garden Club of Naperville, Inc.for their generous support of our Spring Clean Up Projects for the families we serve. This will allow us to do exterior repairs and to plant beautiful flowers to make coming home a joy instead of a reminder of the work that could/should be done instead of the quality time our projects give to families facing medical crisis.

Every so often we get a message from one of our families that just captures the reason for our existence perfectly. Here's what we received today from Evelyn's mom and from the bottom of our hearts, we are so honored to be here for Ev's and all our NM Families:

I’ve been meaning to write this for a while, but I wanted to make sure I said it clearly: thank you.

Having regular cleaning through Normal Moments has genuinely changed the rhythm of our home. It’s not just about a clean space—it’s about what that creates for us. There is more room to breathe, more room to be present, and more room for actual normal moments together as a family.

In a life that can so often feel dominated by logistics, care coordination, and constant vigilance, what you’ve given us is something much harder to come by: a sense of steadiness and relief. It matters more than I can easily put into words.

I am deeply grateful—not only to you—but to your volunteers, your board, and your donors. It’s clear that this work is built on real care and intention, and we feel that every time someone walks through our door.

One year from today—on World NGO Day, February 27, 2027—we invite you to a very special milestone. Please join us at the historic Thornhill Education Center at the Morton Arboretum for our 20th Anniversary Gala!

For two decades, Normal Moments has been dedicated to helping parents of critically ill and medically complex children stay focused on what matters most: spending time with their kids. Whether it’s providing meals, housecleaning, or lawn care, our goal has always been to make "normal" possible during the most challenging times.

🗓 When: Saturday, February 27, 2027
📍 Where: Thornhill Education Center, The Morton Arboretum (West Side)
✨ The Occasion: Honoring 20 years of community, resilience, and the families we serve.

The Thornhill Center, built on the footprint of the original Morton family estate, offers the perfect intimate setting to reflect on our journey and look ahead to the next 20 years of service.

We can’t wait to celebrate two decades of impact with the supporters, volunteers, and families who make our work possible. Formal invitations and ticket details will be shared later this year!
