WIN, Women In Need was founded with the understanding that at any point in time, we are caught off guard in life, unprepared for challenges that befall us:
Be it a death or an illness, loss of job, becoming a single parent, domestic violence, or any other unexpected turn- a woman should not be afraid. There are mountains of resources available to help guide a woman through these challenges, and to
ns of organizations to assist- most of the time FREE OF CHARGE. But sometimes this information is hard to find or nearly impossible to find as quickly as it is needed. We are here to help those that need guidance. We are beginning as an information hub, a collective center of knowledge and resources. Our second phase will be charitable contributions to those in need, and our third phase will be to acquire properties to act as safe houses and a stepping stone for those that need someplace safe to go- a cozy bed, a warm meal, and a place for her children to sleep without a care. While she utilizes the resources we have gathered- computer access, employment and education resources, legal aide, counseling- She leaves us stronger, smarter, supported- EMPOWERED and ready to succeed. Life comes, it deals us a new deck every day. We were founded by those that have lost everything. We are built by those that continue to grow- and are now ready to give back. We are ready to help empower other women to become more than what they were before.
