Citywide Special Brush Collection Begins Aug. 17

Due to the severe weather that occurred in Naperville on Tuesday, Aug. 11, the City will conduct a special citywide brush collection beginning Aug. 17.

Residents have two options for brush and yard waste collection beginning Aug. 17. Groot will collect properly bagged and bundled yard waste on your regular collection day during the weeks of Aug. 17 and 24; no sticker required for 2 weeks until Aug. 31. Public Works crews will make one citywide pass to collect larger, unbundled branches beginning Aug. 17.

The City's weekly yard waste collection program picks up landscape waste in paper yard waste bags and clearly labeled cans and carts as well as bundled small branches.

National Night Out in Brookdale! Thank you, Megan Happ and the Brookdale Neighborhood Association for bringing neighbors together for a great evening!

Neighbors and city workers came together and spread crime awareness during Naperville's National Night Out events on Aug. 3 and 4.

What a night! Our deepest thanks to Naperville Police Department and Naperville Fire Department for another successful National Night Out. We loved the opportunity to gather, mingle with neighbors and city officials, and enjoy delicious food in the Brookdale Pool Racquet Club parking lot. Our tasty lineup this year was a HUGE hit and we are grateful for your partnership: Grumpy Gaucho Food Truck, Strawberries BBQ, Wild Fries, Little O's Frozen Treats, and Tacubaya's food trucks. Shout out to Brookdale Brothers Rental for lending their tables and chairs.
