Sunday drives through the mountains of Uganda

Today, we traded work plans and project lists for winding mountain roads, breathtaking views, and the occasional “Wow, look at that!” every five minutes.

The mountains of Uganda never disappoint. Around every curve, there is another incredible view, another little village, and another reminder of how beautiful this country truly is. Of course, the roads also keep you awake—so coffee may not have been necessary!

We enjoyed a beautiful day, took in the scenery, laughed a lot, and gave ourselves permission to slow down for just a little while.

But tomorrow… it’s back to work! There are projects waiting, plans to finish, and probably at least one surprise that nobody put on the schedule. Because that’s just part of village life!

For today, though, we are grateful for the mountains, the memories, the laughter, and this beautiful place we are lucky enough to call home—even if only for a little while.

Our elderly have been supported by the Angel Projects for over 3 years now and we have loss some, but they were given the opportunity to live full lives with respect and dignity.

The elderly we care for are people who are alone in this world and without the help of The Angel Projects and you our wonderful sponsors, they would have faded into the background with no help but to survive on their own the best they could.

A small monthly contribution which will directly benefit our elderly to help meet their basic needs.
But your sponsorship does so much more.
With your support, our Elderly Sponsorship Project gives the individuals comfort and support.
Our on ground team will work with the elders on:
• Nutrition
• Health care
• Improved living conditions
