A great morning at Glenbard East High School with DSO guest artist Jonathan Mamora! Jonathan spent time with piano, guitar, band, and orchestra students, talking about music, answering questions, and sharing a little of what life is like as a professional pianist.

We love opportunities like this to connect visiting artists with local students — and to give young musicians the chance to hear, learn, and ask questions up close.

Jonathan takes the stage with the DuPage Symphony Orchestra this Saturday, October 17, at Wentz Concert Hall for our season opener, "Brahms and Beyond!" A handful of "best seats" still remain. Grab them quickly before they're gone!

Kick off the DSO’s 73rd season on Saturday, October 17, 2026, with our "Brahms & Beyond" concert, featuring guest pianist Jonathan Mamora! Come early for our Opening Night Pre-Concert Reception in Wentz Hall’s lobby at 6 PM.

Experience the DuPage Symphony Orchestra Trombone Quartet this Saturday, September 12, at 2:30 pm in Central Park, Downtown Naperville! We're excited to be a part of the International Festival hosted by the Naperville Sister Cities Foundation. The DSO Trombone Quartet will play music by Beethoven, Brahms, Dvořák, Rimsky-Korsakov, Tchaikovsky, and Vaughan Williams, along with other favorites. This is a FREE and family-friendly event! Thank you to the Community Foundation of the Fox River Valley for hosting yesterday’s reception and recognizing the DSO among its grant recipients. We are grateful for the Foundation’s generous support and continued investment in arts and culture throughout our community!

Thank you to everyone who joined us last Thursday at Naperville Central Park! It was such a beautiful concert day and a great way to spend the evening with our community. A big thank you to the Naperville Municipal Band for inviting us to participate again this year!

We are especially grateful to Professional Wealth Advisors, LLC for sponsoring our VIP sections all summer, and to the Illinois Arts Council for supporting our summer interns. Destina is a flute performance major at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, and Maddie is an accounting major with a co-major in arts management at Miami University in Ohio.

We are proud to be part of such a vibrant community: thank you for allowing us to share our live music, create opportunities for the next generation of arts leaders, and make the arts accessible and open to all audiences throughout DuPage County and beyond.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for "Our American Heritage" this past Sunday afternoon! We are especially grateful to the Wheaton Park District for hosting us in beautiful Wheaton Memorial Park, to the Wheaton Municipal Band for generously loaning percussion instruments and equipment, and to Professional Wealth Advisors, LLC for sponsoring our VIP Subscriber Section and helping us recognize the patrons whose support makes our season possible.

Concerts like these are only possible because of the strength of our community: this includes our audience, volunteers, board members, musicians, partners, and sponsors, and YOU. Thank you for making this a memorable afternoon!
