NED Alumni Association- Houston TX hosted its annual dinner on November 2nd 2024. The event was attended by NEDians living in Houston, their families, friends, non NEDians, representatives of NED Alumni Connecticut, NED Alumni Dallas NED Alumni North America (NA), various dignitaries in Houston including Consul General of Pakistan in Houston Mr. Aftab Choudhary, deputy consul general of Pakistan in Houston Mr. Ashar Shahzad, president of Pakistan Association of Greater Houston Salman Razzaqi, CEO of CSI and an NEDian Ashraf Habibullah, Philanthropist Ali Sheikhani, District 76 - Texas House of Representatives Dr. Suleiman Lalani, Commissioner for Houston Planning and Houston Airports Zafar Tahir and Media personnel. Dr. Lalani made a proclamation and handed over recognition certificate from State of Texas to NED Alumni Association Houston which was received by the president Murtaza Khan of NEDAA Houston Tx.
Board’s President Murtaza Khan presented Board’s activities, collected funds and board’s targets in supporting Alma mater NED back in the motherland and its graduates doing Masters in the homeland USA. He thanked all the guests for their participation, the sponsors, donors, Volunteers and Media personnel who made the event a successful one. Everyone enjoyed levish dinner later arranged by the Event committee followed by Musical Qawwali night lead by rising star of TX Arsalan Rabbani.

Please be informed that there will be a lot of fun activities other than old friends’ meet up. One of the main attrctions would be Siemens HR booth for the people who are interested to know how to start a career in one of the best multinationals in the World. Keynote speaker Ashraf Habibullah is going to announce some special prizes for the participants (its going to be a big surprise for all). We have planned to make special arrangements for kids under 12. There will be a separate section for kids from 3-12years and baby sitters will be available to take good care of them. Other fun activities like face painting etc. are being designed for them. Tab for kids’ tickets is going to be added under the event link soon. Please support us and reserve your seat now.
