Spotlight: Creating a Path to Business Ownership for Veterans with Restaurant Experience

Through Round 2 POS, John Giles is helping open doors for veterans with Vets to VARs—a program that supports transitioning into business ownership as Value-Added Resellers in the restaurant POS and payments industry.

Built for veterans with restaurant experience, the model is hands-on, relationship-driven, and focused on helping participants build recurring revenue while serving local restaurant owners.

The goal is simple: create real pathways to ownership through a proven business model—and expand opportunity for those ready to take the next step.

This Memorial Day, we honor the brave men and women who served and gave their lives in defense of our nation.

We remember their courage, their sacrifice, and the loved ones they left behind. Their legacy lives on in the freedoms we cherish and the communities we build.

At Veteran Business Project, we carry that legacy forward by supporting those who have served as they continue their mission in new ways.

We remember. We honor. We will never forget.

Transportation can be a major barrier on the path to stability and opportunity.

The Keys to Progress® program from Progressive helps veterans and military families. It gives reliable vehicles for employment, business, and daily life.

Through donated vehicles and community support, this program helps remove one of the most common obstacles veterans face as they build their next chapter.

If you’re a veteran or military family member in need of transportation for work or business, applications are now open—but closing soon on August 7.
