Our Story

S.U.C.C.E.S.S which stands for “School Using Coordinated Community Efforts to Strengthen Students"; is a family volunteer organization, devoted to inspiring and empowering black students/children of color to reach their full academic potential within Naperville's School District 203. Founded June, 2012.

S.U.C.C.E.S.S. is a family-led organization with the support of District 203 leadership committed to empowering African-American/Black students and other students of color and their families to enhance academic performance, foster family-school connectedness, and ensure that everyone is welcomed, valued, and respected. We welcome anyone who supports our mission.

Our mission is to create a family volunteer organization which, at its foundation, is devoted to inspiring and empowering black students/children of color to achieve higher levels of academic performance, which will lead to consistent collegiate admissions, advance economic opportunities and improved quality of life upon graduation and beyond.

We will achieve our mission through the collaborative efforts of parents, families, school and the community.
