✨ August Members of the Month: Renee Jacques & Janet Carloss! ✨

Renee and Janet brought some extra creativity to our recent Naper Nights volunteer event by coming up with the idea for NJWC friendship bracelets. Inspired by the colorful bracelets Taylor Swift fans trade at concerts, they made bracelets for our members to wear and share throughout the evening. 💕✨

Thank you, Renee & Janet, for turning a fun idea into a special NJWC touch at the event! We love seeing our members bring their creativity to the club.

We had an amazing time volunteering at Naper Settlement’s Naper Nights on Saturday! Our NJWC members spent the evening helping out at the beverage stations during a night filled with live music, great company, and tributes to Taylor Swift and Toby Keith.

We love opportunities like this because we get to have fun together while giving back to our community. All the tips we earned throughout the evening go right back to supporting the Naperville Junior Woman’s Club and the work we do throughout Naperville. So thank you to our amazing volunteers!!

Did you catch us on NCTV17? 🎬

We were recently featured on NCTV17’s Spotlight, highlighting nearly six decades of service to the Naperville community. Our own Patty Thomas and Kim York sat down to share what makes this club special, from Hoppy Easter and Trick-or-Treat at Safety Town to our Adopt a Senior events at Martin Avenue Apartments, plus the scholarships and local giving that every fundraising dollar supports.

☀️ We’re back! Did you miss us?

After enjoying a little summer break, the Naperville Junior Woman's Club is back and ready for an exciting season of service, community, and fun! Before we jump into everything we have planned for the rest of the summer, we wanted to take a moment to reflect on one of the inspiring organizations we had the privilege of learning about at our May general meeting.

We were honored to welcome Beautifully Empowhered, a Naperville nonprofit dedicated to empowering women and teen girls through mental health support, career development, mentorship, and community connection. Their mission to help women grow, thrive and succeed is making a meaningful impact right here in our community.

As part of our commitment to supporting local organizations that make a difference, NJWC was proud to present Beautifully EmpowHERed with a $500 donation. We are grateful for the opportunity to support their important work and appreciate them sharing their mission with our members.

Stay tuned as we have so much more to share this summer, and we can't wait to take you along with us!

What a delightful afternoon at NJWC’s Garden Par-Tea! From blooming florals and fancy hats to tea, treats, and wonderful conversation, it was the perfect way to welcome prospective members and celebrate the friendships that make this club so special.

A huge thank you to Monica Gates for bringing this charming afternoon to life, and a special thank you to Le Chocolat du Bouchard for providing the perfect backdrop for an afternoon of tea, treats, games and conversation.

We suspect this may be the beginning of a treasured NJWC tradition. After all, an afternoon of tea, friendship, and garden-party splendor is far too delightful to enjoy only once! 🫖✨
