They did it! Our Vichy Cool School Student Council led their first event after school, A Trash Pick Up Day! 🚮♻️

They made flyers, organized getting supplies from our custodial staff, gave instructions to staff and students, and got to work! Very proud of all our students making their campus beautiful 🤩

Wednesday ACE Silverado Middle had the privilege to take our ACE+ 8th grade girls to a nice restaurant downtown Napa, Ristorante Allegra. These students worked on an etiquette curriculum which included building self-confidence, and self-esteem. They all had a wonderful time.
Today we celebrated 6th & 7th grade promotions, and a special ACE celebration to our SMS 8th grade grads 🎓
We enjoyed good food, music, treats and a video of the years highlights.🎉👏🏽

In honor of AAPI Heritage Month during May, our young Shearer learners explored the richness of Asian and Pacific Islander cultures: discovering languages like Hawaiian and Mandarin, writing their names in Thai, practicing with chopsticks, and even learning Bhangra, the vibrant traditional dance from India! 🕺🌺 Watching them embrace and respect cultures from around the world is everything. 🌏❤️

Last week, SMS ACE had our Spring Jam and we had a blast 💥 we know how to have fun!!

If you have ever called our Vichy Cool School site phone, these lovely faces may have greeted you!

Our Jr. Classroom Leaders are a tremendous help by answering the phone ☎️, grabbing ice for bruised knees🧊, or setting up snack for 75 students🍎!

We have seen their confidence blossom in helping families (Thank you to all who have been very patient with them as well during their training 😊) and also continuing to be a great role model to their peers.
