Napa Parks and Recreation Foundation is proud to support swim lesson scholarships for Napa youth!

Don't forget to apply for the 2025 Youth Scholarship Program! Thanks to the generous support of the Napa Parks and Recreation Foundation and PG&E, Napa residents can apply for our scholarship lottery and enjoy a 90% fee reduction on summer classes and camps! What do parks, open spaces and recreation spaces mean to you?

Parks bring numerous benefits to a community, improving public health, providing environmental services like water filtration and carbon capture, attracting visitors and businesses, boosting property values, cooling off buildings and neighborhoods, contributing to the city's aesthetic appeal, providing essential habitat for important wildlife like pollinators, and more!

As the year winds down and we spend time reflecting on 2024 and thinking about what 2025 will hold, we hope you will think about how your Napa parks, open spaces and recreational programs and facilities contribute to improving your life and community.

In 2012, was conceived with one succinct goal: to establish a day that inspires people to do good. Fast forward to 2024 and this singular goal has evolved into a global movement that has made a difference in the lives of millions of people. Each year, occurs the Tuesday after Thanksgiving, with this year’s event taking place on December 3rd.

Following are a few ways that you can support Napa Parks and Recreation Foundation and YOUR Napa Parks on :

Make a one-time contribution. Donations help us advance our mission and support our key areas of focus, including swim and summer camp scholarships for kids, playground and parks infrastructure improvements and volunteer programs.

Become a monthly supporter. Make a monthly gift to Napa Parks and Recreation Foundation via electronic payment using a credit or debit card or even a check.

Become a volunteer. Sign up to volunteer with the Napa Parks and Recreation Foundation and join us on parks workday in 2025.

Match employees’ contributions. Many employers will match their employees’ contributions to Napa Parks and Recreation Foundation. Inquire if your company has a matching gift program and how you can access the match.

Have you heard of Giving Tuesday? It’s an international day of giving, and it’s happening on Tuesday, December 3rd! Napa Parks and Recreation Foundation will be working toward raising money to support swim and summer camp scholarships, playground and parks infrastructure improvements and volunteer work days in Napa parks.
