350 Bay Area Action is pleased to share the 350 Bay Area Action Annual Report which focuses on our legislative and electoral work, both of which are critical to reducing dangerous air pollution and fighting back against the big-monied interests which seem intent on burning it all down to pursue short term profits.

Did you know that in the US there are over 4,000 data centers, more than any other country? We are seeing a massive buildout of AI data centers, and to meet their unprecedented energy demands, a deepened dependence on fossil fuels.

Health professionals are increasingly concerned about the potential harms and impacts and want to know how to respond.

Join the Medical Society Consortium on Climate Change and Health, Healthy Climate Wisconsin, Physicians for Social Responsibility, Alliance of Nurses for Healthy Environments, and the American Public Health Association for a timely webinar series that will equip attendees with the knowledge they need to speak confidently about the health and environmental justice harms from the rapid buildout of data centers.

Congressman Mike Thompson has named NCN!'s co-founder Christina Benz, a longtime Napa resident and environmental advocate, California District 4’s “2026 Climate Crisis Champion” for Napa County.

“Climate change is the biggest long-term challenge we face today,” said Thompson, who has represented Napa in the US House of Representatives since 1999, and has been a vocal proponent of effective climate action. “If we were to get everything right, but mess up on the climate issue, it will all be for naught.”

The award was fittingly bestowed during a ceremony on April 26th, the end of Earth Week activities throughout the Bay Area. Thompson officially recognized a local climate hero in each of the counties he represents in Congress.
