We’re investing $1.8 million to help Napa Valley students thrive. ❤️
This school year, thousands of Napa County students will have a place to turn when they need a little extra support.
Napa Valley Vintners has awarded $1.8 million to five local nonprofits providing counseling, peer support and other important resources through on-campus wellness centers: Mentis, Napa Valley Education Foundation, Aldea Children & Family Services, On The Move and UpValley Family Centers.
These resources are reaching students across our community. In fact, 55% of Napa County public high school students use an on-campus wellness center.
For students like Vanessa, that support can make a lasting difference. As a freshman, she was struggling academically and feeling isolated. Regular visits to her school’s wellness center helped her reconnect, build friendships, and eventually seek therapy. By senior year, she was bringing younger students into the center and sharing what the space had meant to her.
“This place saved me when I was exactly where you are.”
Since 1981, funds raised through Auction Napa Valley have helped Napa Valley’s vintner community invest in local children and families. This latest $1.8 million investment continues that commitment, with more announcements about support for Napa Valley youth coming soon.
