This is why the NCHN stays focused on its mission. This is a student testimony. 💫

Dear NCHN Supporters: It’s officially Gala Week! 🎉 Our 2026 Scholarship Gala is just around the corner, and there are several simple ways each of us can help make this event a success.

Here are a few things you can do this week:

Share the event and ticket link with your family, friends, colleagues, and professional networks.
Post about the Gala on your social media, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and other platforms.

Every post helps spread the word!
Invite a friend to join the Network and learn more about the work NCHN is doing in our community.

Share your “why.” Post a short testimonial about why you are proud to support the NCHN and why the Network’s mission is meaningful to you.

Encourage others to support our students. Even if someone cannot attend the Gala, they can still make a donation to support scholarships and educational opportunities for local students.

And, of course, there are many other ways to help! Every conversation, invitation, social media post, and personal connection can make a difference.

Thank you for your continued support, commitment, and leadership. Let’s make this Gala an incredible celebration of our students, our community, and the power of education!

Our Vice President, Dr. María Villagómez, and Secretary, Karina Solis, attended October’s Latino Leaders Luncheon, where we heard from local elected officials about issues and opportunities impacting the Napa Latinx community.

Representation matters. More than one-third of Napans are of Hispanic origin, making it essential that our community’s voices, experiences, and aspirations are represented and heard.

The stories and perspectives shared today reflected courage, resilience, perseverance, and dedication, qualities that continue to inspire our community and pave the way for future generations. We are incredibly proud of the elected officials who are serving and advocating for our community.

At the Napa County Hispanic Network (NCHN), we believe that education is a key pathway to opportunity and success. That is why our mission centers on expanding student access, supporting educational achievement, and helping local students reach their full potential.

Together, we can continue creating opportunities, empowering students, and transforming communities! ❤️📚🎓

Dear NCHN Supporter,

We hope you will join us on Saturday, October 10, 2026, for the Napa County Hispanic Network’s 2026 Scholarship Gala, Vamos Napa Valley: Noche de las Américas at The Westin Verasa Napa.

This special evening is about so much more than a gala. It is an opportunity to celebrate our community, honor outstanding leaders, enjoy an unforgettable evening of music and culture, and, most importantly, celebrate the Napa County students whose lives are being changed through educational opportunity.

We know that not everyone who would like to attend will be able to join us this year. If you are unable to attend, we invite you to consider an especially meaningful alternative: donate the cost of a gala admission to one of our scholarship recipients.

Give a Student a Seat at the Table - Fund-A-Need for $250!

Your gift will allow a deserving scholarship recipient to attend the gala, enjoy dinner and an evening of celebration, meet community leaders and supporters, and experience firsthand the community that is investing in their future. Instead of an empty seat at the gala, your generosity can fill that seat with a student.

It is a simple but powerful way to say to a young person: “We believe in you. We believe in your education. And we believe in your future. ”Whether you have supported NCHN for years or are considering supporting us for the first time, your generosity makes a difference. Every contribution helps us continue providing scholarships and expanding educational opportunities for deserving students throughout Napa County.

And, of course, if your plans change and you are able to join us, we would love to celebrate with you! Guests will enjoy an elegant dinner, inspiring stories, exciting fundraising opportunities, and live music by the David Perez Band, featuring cumbia, Tejano, salsa, Latin rock, and other Latin favorites that are sure to get everyone on the dance floor.

🇲🇽 ¡Viva México! ¡Viva la Independencia! 🇲🇽

Today, the Napa County Hispanic Network (NCHN) proudly celebrates Mexico’s Independence Day and the rich history, culture, and traditions that continue to connect generations of Mexican and Mexican American families.

🇲🇽✨ We are especially honored that the NCHN Board of Directors received a proclamation from the Napa City Council recognizing Mexico’s Independence Day and celebrating the many contributions of the Mexican and Mexican American community to the City of Napa and the Napa Valley.

🎉🌵🌮🎶💃🏽🇲🇽 On September 16, 1810, the call for independence launched the movement that ultimately led to Mexico becoming a sovereign nation. More than two centuries later, the spirit of libertad, comunidad y orgullo continues to inspire communities throughout Mexico and around the world.

❤️💚🤍 Here in Napa Valley, Mexican heritage is woven into the fabric of our community. We celebrate the generations of families, farmworkers, students, educators, entrepreneurs, and community leaders whose contributions continue to strengthen our region and enrich its cultural heritage.

✨ NCHN extends its sincere gratitude to the Napa City Council for recognizing Mexico’s Independence Day and celebrating the heritage, history, and contributions of our Mexican and Mexican American community.

🇲🇽 ¡Viva México! ¡Viva nuestra cultura! ¡Viva nuestra comunidad! 🇲🇽
