At Worldwide Community First Responder’s 15th Anniversary & Fundraising Gala, Founder & President Dr. Jacqueline Cassagnol, PhD, MSN, RN, PMC, reflected on WCFR’s remarkable 15-year journey and the people who have helped transform a vision into a lasting legacy.
“Fifteen years ago, WCFR began with a vision—to give ordinary people the knowledge and confidence to do something extraordinary: Save a life.”
Dr. Cassagnol reminded guests that WCFR’s impact has always been about people—the volunteers who showed up, instructors who taught, sponsors who believed in the mission, partners who opened doors, students who were encouraged, and individuals who learned lifesaving skills.
“Fifteen years ago, WCFR was a vision. Tonight, it is a legacy.”
As WCFR celebrates this milestone, the work continues. There are still people to train, communities to reach, young leaders to support, and lives waiting to be saved.
“Because when one person learns to save a life, we change a moment. When a community learns to save lives, we change the future.”
Dr. Cassagnol closed with gratitude and a powerful reminder of what lies ahead:
