Saturday’s event was nothing short of wonderful! Families came together from across our community. Parents brought their children; members of the recovery community came to connect and support one another; and community members joined their loved ones to celebrate a day of fun together.

Laughter and joy filled the air as children and adults enjoyed badminton, hula-hooping, basketball, inflatable bowling, and many other games and activities throughout the day. There were also plenty of snacks, juice, and water to keep everyone refreshed as they enjoyed the festivities.

Smiles were everywhere, new friendships were formed, and meaningful connections were strengthened.

This is what community looks like. This is what connection looks like. When people come together, support one another, and simply enjoy being present, something truly special happens. We are grateful to everyone who joined us and helped make the day such a joyful, welcoming, and memorable experience for all.

Please note that all individuals pictured in these photos provided permission for their images to be shared. We also want to acknowledge and thank those who attended and chose not to be photographed. Their privacy and confidentiality were fully respected, and while their photos are not shown, their presence and participation were an important part of what made this event so special.

Together, we continue to build a stronger, healthier, and more connected community. ❤️

Overdose emergencies often happen when other people are nearby.

A friend. A family member. A classmate. A neighbor.

Knowing how to respond calmly and quickly can make a life-saving difference while emergency help is on the way.

Preparedness is not about expecting the worst — it is about being ready to help someone when every moment matters.

We are on the move!

Our first step in launching our Naloxone vending machine initiative is officially underway, and we’re proud to share this milestone with our community.

This effort reflects our longstanding partnership with MATTERS, an organization we have worked alongside for years. When MATTERS approached us with the vision of expanding access through a Naloxone vending machine, we were proud to collaborate to bring that vision to life in partnership with the Village of Spring Valley. This MATTERS Naloxone vending machine is being placed outside the Louis Kurtz Center, in a location where increased access to overdose-prevention and harm-reduction resources can make a meaningful difference.

We extend our sincere gratitude to the Village of Spring Valley for their partnership and collaboration in helping make this possible.

A special thank you to Lenny and Dawn, our dedicated street outreach specialists, who brought this move across the finish line, and a shoutout to Hector for his assistance as the machine arrived at its new home. They will ensure the machine is stocked with essential harm-reduction and life-saving supplies once installation is complete. We are deeply grateful for their continued boots-on-the-ground outreach, bringing education, resources, and recovery support to individuals wherever they are on their journey.

This is just the beginning. We are energized for what comes next and committed to expanding access, saving lives, and supporting our community every step of the way.

We appreciate your patience as we complete the installation in the coming week. Stay tuned.
