Happy 251st Birthday to the United States Navy!

You don't look a day over 200!

Since October 13, 1775, the Navy has been defending our nation, protecting the seas, and sending generations of sailors to places they couldn't pronounce, aboard ships they sometimes wished they'd never seen.

Here's to 251 years of saltwater, steel, steam, long deployments, midwatches, shipmates, and memories that last a lifetime.

To every sailor who ever stood a watch, turned a wrench, swabbed a deck, or answered the call, you're part of a tradition that stretches back more than two and a half centuries.

Happy Birthday, Shipmates!

Fair winds, following seas, and GO NAVY!
