An enthusiastic group of volunteers gathered this past Saturday for our August Clean Team Event. We were honored to meet and work with six visiting sailors from the U.S.S. Nantucket, a Freedom-class littoral combat ship commissioned in 2024. The sailors serve as part of the Military Sealift Command that delivers fuel, equipment, am******on and supplies to military forces worldwide.

Thanks to all who help keep our village looking so beautiful, and to Marine Home Center and the Sconset Civic Association for providing our supplies.

Please mark your calendars for our next event. We’ll meet at the Sconset Post Office on Saturday, September 5th from 8-9am.

See you there!
