Thanks again to Lions Ron and Melissa. In addition to the new bows and arrows we received previously Melissa was able to obtain a $600 store credit. She went shopping today and the Camp has new arm guards, arrows and targets.

Diabetic camps are over. Counselors having a well earned dinner at Port To***co Marina with our fantastic Administrative Assistant Melissa and me.

Kevin Wright is leaving for California before the end of the year and we wish him all the best in his future endeavors

Time to close out our second T1 camp. Friday morning Flagpole Ceremony followed by individual awards for each cabin. Parents were in attendance to watch and bring their campers home. A good time for all involved. MD School for the Blind arrives Sunday for camp.

Friday morning and Flagpole Ceremony and mail call. The last victory laps for campers who accomplished a diabetic skill on their own. Parents have started showing up already.

Wednesday Day three. Following breakfast and Morning Flagpole ceremony it’s off to the river for 2 hours of canoeing. Afternoon spent in T1 group talks then slip and slide fun. Dinner was stir fry, rice and chicken for most. Evening entertainment is supposed to be a cabin musical competition.

Day Two of week 2 T1 camp. Canoeing and dodge ball before tomato soup and grilled cheese sandwiches for lunch.

First T1 camp ended Friday. Campers had their last flagpole meeting followed by awards in the dining hall with parents in attendance.

Tuesday canoeing on the river after a very nasty thunderstorm Monday night. Next morning the river was like glass.

Family Camp ended yesterday and today is Day One of Week 1 Diabetic Camp. No parents just the kids and counselors. Right now is post dinner activities. A flagpole ceremony with the counselors introducing themselves to the newbies followed a game of hide and seek involving the counselors hiding.

2022 Family Camp comes to a close. Everyone enjoyed the water park slides. We had the first camp fire of the year at the firepit.
