UpTempo 8th-HS Tryouts are in two weeks on March 16th! All new players must fill out the forms online at our website then email those forms to Coach Fitts in order to register for tryouts. Any youth players that are younger than 8th Grade must contact Coach Fitts in order to set up a tryout date. If you have any questions please contact us and we hope to see you soon at tryouts!

The Idaho Youth Basketball League was a huge success in its first season! We wanted to give a big S/O to all those who made it possible for the IYBL to happen.

First, We wanted to give a huge thanks to College of Idaho Men's Basketball for hosting the championship games and Vallivue High School Men's Basketball for hosting all of the regular season games! Your facilities were top notch and your commitment to helping Idaho Youth Basketball is just one of the many reasons you stand out as great programs and examples for our youth in our community!

Also, Thank you to all the parents, programs, players, coaches and officials who participated, supported and worked to make the IYBL a positive experience for everyone!

Finally, a big S/O to Michael Fitts for creating such a remarkable app for our league that enhanced the experience for everyone especially our players!

Last but not least, Congratulations to the 2025-2026 IYBl Champions!

Congrats to both UpTempo 4th and our local UpTempo 6th for a great weekend of hoops! Both made their respective championships with 6th Grade local losing to a tough Homedale team. UpTempo 4th Grade went undefeated 4-0 and won the Red Kettle Championship! They are now 11-0 on the season going into Christmas Break! Merry Christmas to our UpTempo Family and enjoy a wonderful Christmas Break! We will get back to practice next week and get better!

Congratulations to all our teams who played this past weekend! Our local 6th Grade team played their first games of the season and went 1-2 and got better every game! 3rd and 4th Graders went undefeated again both going 3-0 and both taking first place in TVAC Power League! Our 6th Graders and 8th Graders who played in CTB went combined 8-0 winning their division championships! Combined record for the weekend 15-2! Now back to practice to get better and get ready for the Youngblood Preseason Tourney!

What a fun weekend to start our UpTempo Youth Winter Season! The little guys played in their very first tourney of the year and they were awesome! Both our 3rd and 4th Graders went undefeated 4-0 and won the ship! Big S/O to Coach Ty and Coach Joe for a doing a great job on a busy weekend! UpTempo teams went a combined 10-1 this weekend with both 8th and JV winning their ships! Varsity lost in the semis but played tough never quitting with 4 underclassmen and an 8th Grader competing and getting better! S/O to that 8th grader for playing with 3 teams this weekend helping to enhance any team he is a part of! Back to practice with one goal…get better 💯

We had our first tourney of the 2025-2026 Season this past weekend. We have a lot of room to improve but we got better every game and both our 6th and Frosh teams went a combined 8-0! Undefeated weekend=back in the gym to practice and get better starting today!

What an impressive weekend for our UpTempo teams in Vegas! Our Varsity group with 2 8th graders, 2 Frosh, 2 Soph and 2 Juniors lost in the 3rd place game in the top Varsity division.

Our 8th Grade team composed of 3 8th graders and 4 7th graders went undefeated to the ship in the top division and lost to a very good SD Sharks team from San Diego but battled all game and never gave up.

Our 5th Graders played some outstanding basketball going undefeated in the top division and winning the first championship ever in Vegas in our program’s history! As a program we went 9-3 on the weekend!

Our 2024-2025 Season has been a truly remarkable season with unprecedented success both on and off the court! From 3rd Graders all the way up to Varsity our players know what it takes to be winners and the final season records show that!

Our final Spring and Summer Record 79-20
Our final Fall and Winter Record 107-20

2024-2025 UpTempo Season Record 186-40

Congrats to everyone on an incredible year and we can’t wait to get better in 2025-2026 season! Tryouts are this Saturday!

Big time weekend for UpTempo! So many players had the opportunity to play up this weekend as we had 7th and 8th graders playing up in 9th and JV and 9th graders playing Varsity!

All 3 teams went undefeated to their respective Championship while JV fell short to a tough Culture Shock team, 9th and Varsity both won in convincing style! S/O to UpTempo legend for his dominance all weekend and putting up a 40 piece in the ship with some jaw dropping dunks!

Also, big S/O to our 4 7th graders who turned the momentum in the 9th grade championship giving everyone a glimpse of how special that group is! 11-1 on the weekend! Congrats UpTempo Family!
