GSPCI hosted a great seminar with trainer George DeCosta Jr. This was an all day class on May 30th for our club members! It was absolutely amazing and was very informative! George did a great job getting our minds to process in the way our dogs would understand. A great lunch was served midway. Huge shout out to George for his knowledge, and to our club members Karyn & Brittany for putting this together! This is just one of the many events we have going this summer! Hey all! We had a great turn out from our members for the training day this past Saturday! Thank you to John Bunn for organizing this and to our trainers, John Bunn, Craig Lyle, Travis Gabel, and Karyn Wood! Thank you to everyone that came out with their dogs! We had “students” as young as 5 months. It was great seeing everyone work their dogs at the different stations and seeing some of these young pups experience birds! Can’t wait to see our members at the next training day, May 23rd!

2026 Chukar-o-Rama was a huge success!!! Thank you to Pat O’Kief for organizing this event once again and to the judges, Karyn Wood, Gary Moen and Kevin Keyt! Thank you to all of our volunteers Pat O’Kief, Paul Kaczmarek, Rock & Lorraine Rothrock, Todd & Kim Woods, Shannon Swanson, Randy Rice, Michael Byrne, Doug Bashford, Jim Wade, and Gary Chapman! I hope I didn’t miss anyone! There were 34 entries this year! We had beautiful weather and an absolutely delicious pulled pork lunch! There were so many great photos, this may be more than 1 post! Thank you all for coming out!

Hey everyone!!! Just wanted to let you all know that we have one heck of a spring and summer coming up for our members and the public! During the spring and summer we put on training days for our members and their pups/dogs! Also for our members, we have our annual Chukar-o-rama coming up this weekend, spring training days May 9th & May 23rd, a George DeCosta seminar May 30th, a fun water retrieve June13th, a fun sporting clay shoot in June, and all of our summer trainings coming up! All of these you have to be a member for, but coming up also this summer, we are putting on a Sporting Dog First Aid Class with Dr. Melody Ward, and a fall AKC Trial. Those are open to the public. We also have other fun things lined up that are being worked out for dates, but will be announced soon! You can always go to our website, gspcidaho.com and look at our calendar of events for dates and times of what we have going on!

We are located in Boise, Idaho and have members across Idaho and eastern Oregon. AKC Events, Club Events, Hunt Tests, Field Trials, Camraderie
