On may 2nd, members of the club attended the "Kentucky Derby" Tea at the Nampa Train Depot, sponsored by the Canyon County Historical Society. The club presented them with a check for $1000 to further the work of preserving our community's history.

Our GFWC special guest, Dr. Susan Gettys, was a wonderful speaker and fun to be with at dinner and convention! Thanks to the Boise Columbian Club for hosting at the Bishops' House. It was a fun day!

GFWC Woman's Century Club's Art and Writing Contest was a success! Thank you to Nampa and Vallivue School Districts and the teachers most of all, for the many entries.
