I wanted to share a need from Glocal Community Partners:
Each Thursday morning, we have 30-50 women and 10-25 children attend an English class taught by a beautiful group of women from our local churches. These women and children who have come as refugees often need help with transportation NEED A DRIVER FOR OUR VAN - picking up women and children in our van at about 9 am and then taking them home at about 1145. During class you are free to leave and work from a local coffee shop or in our office. If two people wanted to share the driving, either picking up and dropping off or every other week... we only have English when school is in session as we cannot take care of the older children. if you can't do it one week, we will find a substitute. Background check with driving check required and training encouraged on working with refugees which is a great class to take for anyone!
