Idaho Native Plant Society Welcome to the Idaho Native Plant Society's official page!

The Idaho Native Plant Society (INPS) is a statewide non-profit organization dedicated to:
* promoting interest in native plants and plant communities
* collecting and sharing information on all phases of the botany of Idaho’s native plants
* fostering an understanding and appreciation of our native flora
* preserving this rich heritage for future generations
* educating its membership and the pub

lic about current conservation issues that affect Idaho’s native flora and habitats. Incorporated in 1989 (Pahove Chapter 1979), INPS is an all volunteer organization, with seven local chapters:
- Calypso Chapter (Coeur d'Alene)
- Loasa Chapter (Twin Falls)
- Pahove Chapter (Boise)
- Sawabi Chapter (Pocatello)
- Upper Snake Chapter (Idaho Falls)
- White Pine Chapter (Moscow)
- Wood River Chapter (Ketchum/Sun Valley)
