Congratulations, William Bondar!

Last week, we had the pleasure of celebrating Will as he earned his GED/HSE! 🎓
In just one month, Will put in the hard work, stayed focused, and accomplished this incredible goal.

Although Will was only with us for a short time, he made an impact on our program and our team. We are thankful for the time we got to spend with him, the laughs we shared, and the memories we made along the way.

We are so proud of everything you accomplished in such a short amount of time, and we can’t wait to see where this next chapter takes you! 💚⛓️‍💥

Our meal-coordinator, Mando, does more than making hot meals for our students, he also provides them fresh hair cuts.

Earlier this week, Mando took the time to give haircuts to two of our youth, one of which was a students little brother for the new school year.

We are so grateful for all the services that Mando offers to our students and all the ways he shows up for them.

We thank him for sharing his professional barber skills to ensure our youth have access to freshen up their hair, especially during the summertime. 💈☀️

We would love to give a HUGE thank you to AC Boise - Boise Pro Soccer for gifting our students tickets to their very first international match! ⚽️

For many of our students, this was their first time ever attending a professional soccer game. What made it even more special was that some of our students were able to bring their family members along to share the experience with them. ❤️

We are incredibly grateful to AC Boise for investing in our students and helping us create experiences that go beyond the classroom. Thank you for being part of our students’ journey and for helping us build community! 💚⛓️‍💥

This quarter, our team is proud to support Breaking Chains Academy of Development (BCAD), a nonprofit dedicated to empowering at-risk youth through education, workforce training, and mentorship📚

✨What inspires us most is BCAD's commitment to building genuine, caring relationships with the young people they serve. Through a trauma-informed approach, they help students build resilience, discover their potential, and create brighter futures!

We're honored to support an organization that is making a lasting impact in our community 💙

A huge THANK YOU to Tresidio Homes for spending the afternoon with our students! 💚

They treated our students to an amazing cookout with delicious hamburgers and hot dogs, then stayed to play yard games, laugh, and spend some quality time building relationships with them. And of course, they made it even more fun by bringing prizes for our students to enjoy! 🎉

We are so grateful for community partners like Tresidio Homes who take the time to invest in our students and create opportunities for them to simply have fun, feel supported, and build positive connections.

Thank you for helping us create an afternoon our students won’t forget! We appreciate you!

Manny’s humor and authenticity has truly brightened our days. We’ve had so fun getting to know him this year and are honored to watch him grow.

Before the day ends, we want to congratulate Damien Barron on earning his GED/HSE today! 🎓🎉

Damien came to BCAD with clear goals and a determination to graduate quickly. He was able to reach his goals and graduate in just 3 weeks!

We’re so proud of the hard work and dedication Damien put in to reach this milestone. Now, he’s looking ahead to his next goal: pursuing a career in welding!

Congratulations, Damien! We can’t wait to see where this next chapter takes you. We’re so proud of you and all you’ve accomplished! ❤️🎓

Last month we were able to award a previous BCAD graduate, Ava, with a scholarship that covers the remaining cost of her tuition and tools for the semester! 🎉

Ava attended Breaking Chains in April of 2024, and one month later, through hard work and dedication, she graduated. Now she is attending CWI and studying Collision Repair Technology.

We are honored to have the opportunity to keep empowering our youth, in lending support from our community as they further their education and grow towards adulthood.

Congratulations Ava! We are excited to see what this journey will look like & we can’t wait to see all the classical cars you’ll restore! 🤎🛠️

Breaking Chains is GROWING!

We are excited to announce the onboarding of Connor Fajardo as a full-time Academic Mentor and Roslyn Ceja-Arteaga as a part-time Marketing Coordinator! 📣

What does this mean for BCAD? 💚

Connor is joining our classroom as a THIRD tutor while helping students and graduates achieve their short term and long term academic goals.

Roslyn is joining Jasmine in Development efforts to share impactful stories and sustain our program’s ever-growing needs!

This is just the beginning. We can’t thank our community enough for the ongoing support to bring individuals into our organization who help create brighter futures for youth! ⭐️
