🌟 Building Resilience. Creating Connections. Changing Lives. 🌟
Since 1999, The Mentoring Network, Inc. (formerly the West Canyon Mentoring Project) has been connecting caring adults with school-referred students in grades 1–8, with opportunities to continue through high school.
Today, The Mentoring Network serves students across five school districts: Nampa, Caldwell, Parma, Homedale, and Vallivue.

We believe every young person deserves:
✨ A caring adult in their corner
✨ High expectations and meaningful opportunities
✨ A safe space to find their voice
✨ Positive relationships that build confidence and resilience
Our mentors meet with students one hour each week, on school grounds, throughout the school year, focusing on friendship, encouragement, and connection. These relationships can make a meaningful difference in attendance, academic performance, behavior, and self-worth.
We believe resilience isn't something only a few “superkids” are born with. When young people have caring relationships, support, high expectations, and opportunities to grow, they can discover their own strength and potential.
💫 Sometimes, one caring adult can help a young person see what’s possible.
