We Need You at Stampede Week!!!
Our biggest 4 H fundraisers of the year - the Buckaroo Breakfast and Stampede Concessions - are critically short on volunteers. These events fund scholarships, camps, fair awards, volunteer recognition, trainings, and county resources.
Without enough help, we risk losing both the events and the funding our youth rely on.
This is your moment to step up!!
Bring your family, your friends, your club — everyone has a job they can do.

First matchup: 4-H vs. Forests Forever.

The 4-H plate celebrates Idaho’s youth programs, supporting leadership, agriculture, STEM, and community projects across the state. The Forests Forever plate honors Idaho’s timber heritage, with funds supporting forestry education, outreach, and conservation efforts.

Battle of the Plates: Round 1 starts NOW!

The Black and White Famous Potato is a modern spin on Idaho’s classic plate! The funds support the Idaho Potato Commission’s marketing, education, and agriculture‑promotion programs.

The 4-H plate celebrates Idaho’s 4‑H youth programs! Funds go to the University of Idaho Extension 4‑H Youth Development Program to support leadership, agriculture, STEM, and community projects for Idaho kids.

Tonight, members of Sunny Ridge 4-H small animal projects learned about bio security, planning habitats for their animals and breed identification. We had a lot of great discussion and project members were excited to share their knowledge with new members.

Rally Obedience Clinics

Free and open to all Canyon and Ada 4-H youth, dogs, leaders, parents and volunteers. Youth will learn the basics of Rally, review foundation skills, receive an introduction to many of the Rally signs, watch demonstrations from our instructors, and practice with guidance.

Each clinic will build on the prior clinic, so attending all would be desirable.

Clinic 1: Saturday, January 10, 1 pm – 3:30 pm at the Fair Building, 111 S. 22nd Avenue, Caldwell, ID.

Clinic 2: Saturday, February 14, 1 pm – 3:30 pm at The Center, 110 County Fair Avenue, Caldwell, ID.

Clinic 3: May, TBD.

Please plan to arrive early, bring a crate for your dog, water for both of you and lots of treats. A flat buckle collar, slip collar or martingale are all appropriate. Remember your leash!

This marks the first time the National Civics Bee has been held in Idaho, underscoring the state’s growing commitment to civic education and leadership development.
All students in grades 6–8 attending public, private, charter, or home schools in Idaho are eligible to participate in the National Civics Bee. Youth can learn more about it and what it takes to submit their application by Feb. 3, 2026, through the online portal at https://idahofallschamber.com/national-civics-bee-idaho/
