Serving together to bring help, hope, and healing through aviation. To see isolated people changed by the love of Christ.

Mission Aviation Fellowship - Serving together to bring help, hope, and healing through aviation.

Long before the first engine starts, someone is already at work.
Checking, tightening, testing, and making sure every part of the aircraft is ready for the day ahead.

This is where the mission begins.
Behind every flight that delivers medicine, food, and hope is a skilled mechanic who made it possible.

Faithful hands. Careful eyes. Purpose in every detail.
That’s what keeps MAF flying safely every single day.

Not every part of ministry looks like standing in front of a crowd or sharing a message.

Sometimes it looks like fixing an aircraft, answering an email, preparing a shipment, teaching a class, or helping a team work through a problem.

These tasks might seem ordinary on their own, but they can contribute to something much bigger.

Colossians 3:23 reminds us to work wholeheartedly, as working for the Lord.

You don’t need a platform to serve faithfully. Sometimes it starts with doing the work in front of you well.

Before the plane lifts off…
Before the supplies are delivered…
Before the patient is reached…

There’s this.

Faithful hands, preparing the way.
The work before the work.

Behind every flight is work most people never see.

In remote Lesotho, Deborah Francois hauls fuel across the airstrip and onto the wing herself. It’s a small but essential part of making each flight possible.

This is what serving looks like. Showing up, doing the work, and helping connect isolated communities with the care and hope they need.

Jesus came not to be served, but to serve. And we get to follow His example in ways both big and small.

We’re looking for pilots, mechanics, and others who want to be part of this work.

There are jobs where you know exactly what your day is going to look like.

Then there are jobs where the location, weather, people, and needs can change constantly.

That’s part of what makes serving with MAF different.

One day might involve preparing an aircraft for a flight.

Another might mean flying supplies into a remote community.

Another might involve solving a technical problem, teaching, maintaining equipment, or helping a team operate far from home.

And the reason behind it is simple: MAF wants to use aviation to make it possible for people to serve isolated communities and share the love of Christ.

If you’re wondering what that could look like for you, start a conversation.

John 6:35

An MAF flight can look pretty simple from the outside.

An aircraft leaves an airstrip, flies to another airstrip, and comes back.

But there’s usually more happening than that.

A pilot may be carrying medical supplies, transporting a patient, moving essential cargo, or helping another MAF team reach a community that would otherwise be difficult to access.

And behind that flight is a whole team making it possible: mechanics keeping aircraft flying, IT specialists keeping systems running, teachers serving families, and people handling the countless details that keep a mission moving.

Aviation is the tool.

Seeing isolated people changed by the love of Christ is the mission.
