CLUTCHnampa A group of people committed to creating an affirming space in our community for LGBTQ+ youth. No pressure, no judgement, just YOU!

CLUTCH is a non-profit group committed to creating a safe space in the Nampa community for LGBTQ+ youth. We welcome LGBTQ+ youth ages 14-20 to join us. CLUTCH meets every Thursday from 6:30-8:00pm. CLUTCH was born out of a desire to do better for the LGBTQ+ youth in the Nampa community. The plan is simple – provide a safe space where LGBTQ+ youth can feel free to be themselves, find acceptance, and feel loved.

✏️ Meet Dave! ✏️

If Dave looks familiar it's because he's been teaching in the Nampa School District for 25 years 🤯 This year he's teaching 7th grade ELA 📚

When he's not teaching or helping others, he's playing D&D which he proudly claims to know roughly 5% of the rules of (we respect the commitment lol) 🎲

And when asked what fictional world he'd want to live in, his answer was: "One where I had more hair." 😭

We love Dave's sense of humor and his drive to never stop learning and couldn't be more excited to see what he does for CLUTCH🫶✨

If you've ever been to Canary Books, you've probably met Kristen 📚💙

She's a huge believer in creating spaces where everyone feels welcome, loves connecting with new people, and somehow balances running a bookstore with being a senior VP in tech 💻😵‍💫

When she's not working, you'll probably find her talking books, quoting Labyrinth, or listening to David Bowie 🎤

We love her previous work with CLUTCH and are excited for what she'll bring to our Board 🫶

Ask Janelle what she's passionate about, and she'll probably tell you it's people 🫶

As a therapist, a mom, and an auntie, she knows just how important it is for people to feel seen and supported. She loves the little details that make each person unique; your go-to coffee order, the songs you love, or the awkward story you've told a hundred times because it still makes you laugh.

That's the same heart she brings to CLUTCH 🌈 She joined our Board because she believes everyone deserves to be part of a community where they feel accepted and celebrated 🥳✨
