Okay world. Time for the announcement. As many of you know, I’m not good at doing anything halfway. So…

In light of my recent certification as a USCCA Certified Fi****ms Instructor, I’ve created a new company to provide my new services under. May I please introduce and invite you to be part of… Treasure Valley Shooting Academy.

The intention is to provide professional instruction for those looking to become educated in, or more familiar with, the use and safety of fi****ms, with an emphasis on self-defense and responsible gun ownership. While the plan is to kick things off with Idaho Enhanced Concealed Carry Certification classes, we plan to offer an array of different classes, such as firearm fundamentals and basic skill level introduction, women only classes, encountering mass shooters, first aid, and much more. Our plan is to join in and be collaborative with the already existing community of stellar companies amd instructors the treasure valley has to offer. Pistol reps directly translate to rifle competency, but the inverse is not true. The more you put into your pistol training, the more you’re going to get out of your shooting in general. Follow for trainings, deals, and tactical gear.

Yes, you should still bring your .22 for our regular monthly .22 game as well.

at . Al took home the trophy for the round in shotguns, Dane and Greg took home the prizes for .22 rifle and pistol rounds. An awesome day was had.

Next month is deer rifle/long range rifles out in the Owyhees! Start prepping now.

Hello Members!
We will be getting together this next Sunday (the 24th) for gun club. Remember to bring your pistols and shotguns. We'll be spending time throwing clays and honing some skills with both shotguns as well as sidearms. Yes, please also still bring your .22's for our usual monthly game. As always, bring whatever you'd like to shoot.

I'll be picking up some hoola-hoops or baseball bases so that we can start getting into mobile course work. This will be rad.

I've been unable to find anyone that can print our logo on the canopy wall, but found plenty of places that will gladly print it on a new wall. However, I can't seem to find any that offer the zipper and/or that will accommodate the setup we have now. If anyone would like to help try to track someone that can print on our existing wall, please feel free to coordinate with me; I'd love to get it done. In the meantime, I'll keep exploring options.

Anyone want to talk about food to bring and such? Let's use this thread this week to coordinate.


Also, everyone should keep in mind that Robert's next Concealed Permit course will be the weekend after our club meet; they are always the first weekend of the month, Friday's 7-9pm and Saturday's 9am-3pm(ish). We'd love to see more club members come join and get your permits. Robert, when you get the chance, can you comment about additional trainings you have coming up? I know you'd mentioned the tactical pistol class (I'd love to join that one again) but can't remember the date you set it for. Jordon, you have any rifle courses coming up?

Did someone say… moving target!?! Yes!!

We had a blast yesterday at the monthly meet!
It started as a blattle against the cold and the wind, but man we overcame. Good fun. Good people. Good conversation. Good food. Good shooting. Games were played. Prizes were won. And more plans were made. Next month will be epic.

Huge thank you to everyone for making it out, for the contributions, and for helping make it such an awesome experience. TVGC is already so much more than we imagined it would be. I’m blown away how much and how fast it’s evolving. Many thanks everyone. Truly.

Let’s use this thread for planning and communicating about next month. Maybe that way, I won’t forget the BUNS for the sandwiches. 😬
