The Nesting Place exists to share the love of Christ with women experiencing an unexpected pregnancy. We educate women how to make healthy life-long decisions for themselves and their babies by providing them with a secure and nurturing home and connecting them to supportive resources in the community.

🎃 A Place to Grow, A Place to Belong 🎃

There’s something beautiful about watching a mama and her little one simply enjoy being together. ❤️

This sweet mama came to The Nesting Place, Lifeline’s maternity home, during a season of uncertainty. Today, she is building a life for herself and her baby—working hard, learning, growing, and embracing motherhood with courage and hope.

The Nesting Place is more than a home. It’s a safe place where women facing unsupported pregnancies can find community, stability, practical support, and the opportunity to build a strong future for themselves and their babies. Our goal is to walk alongside each mama.

From job skills and budgeting to parenting, education, healthy relationships, and faith, we want each mama to know that she is not alone.

And sometimes, that looks like sitting on a hay bale surrounded by pumpkins with your little one in your arms. 🎃🧡

Every mother and every baby has a story worth investing in. We are grateful for the friends and donors who make The Nesting Place possible and help create a place where moms and babies can grow, flourish, and find hope.

The biggest misconception about maternity housing?

That it’s simply providing a bed.

Housing is where the journey begins—not where the mission ends.

Excellent maternity housing surrounds a mother with far more than a place to sleep. It creates an environment where she can pursue stability through meaningful relationships, individualized goals, parenting preparation, education, employment support, and a plan for life after the program.

Every maternity home is different. Each has its own model, strengths, and focus. But the strongest programs all recognize one truth:

Housing is the foundation. Transformation happens through the people, relationships, and programs built around it.

One of the greatest joys of this work is seeing lives continue to flourish long after they leave our Nesting Place. ❤️

Today we had the privilege of seeing one of our former residents with her sweet 3-year-old son, and it filled our hearts with gratitude. Watching a once-uncertain chapter become a story of hope, growth, and a thriving little boy is a beautiful reminder of why this work matters.

Moments like these remind us that every act of love, encouragement, and support can make a lasting difference. Thank you to everyone who helps make stories like this possible. 💙

At the Nesting Place we develop relationships that last far beyond residency in our house. Recently we invited several of our graduates to a Christmas gathering filled with good food, lots of laughter, and even some hand crafting of miniature decorative houses. We believe the greater the relationship the greater the ministry…it’s amazing to see the seeds planted bearing fruit in the lives of our Mamas as they grow into all God intended them to be!
